SAM Maturity Assessment

At ITAM solutions, our SAM Maturity Assessment service will assist you in determining the maturity levels of your SAM practise via a growth model that has been developed after analysing multiple clients of different industries and sizes (whitepaper). Once we have determined your position on the growth model, we will then provide you with a concrete and realistic roadmap towards a more mature SAM practise.

The SAM Maturity Assessment uses a common template as shown in our white paper so that it is easy to categorize the various aspects of your SAM process. Once we have established your current SAM maturity level, we can consult with you to set a desired level of maturity and then provide some indicative KPIs to reflect the gap between your current and ideal SAM maturity level. The action plan to improve the maturity level is specific on the individual needs of the client, but typically consists of a SWOT analysis of the SAM process and a verified license positioning report (VLP) which is then followed by the creation of a roadmap to decide which processes and/or tools need to be improved/implemented first to establish a foundation for further improvements.
